What should your Project Manager cover letter do?
Try not to make your project manager cover letter a duplicate of your CV / resume, but do make sure that it positively highlights projects you have successfully managed. It should bring to the reader’s attention any specialised skills and experience (such as IT systems), highly desired qualifications (e.g. Prince 2), your communication, leadership and importantly the people skills you possess.
Remember your project manager cover letter should be concise and immediately provide the most important details you want the reader to see. A good way of doing this is by bullet pointing 3 or 4 key skills or achievements you hope will impress.
