Skills and qualities to be highlighted on your Care Assistant CV / resume

As a Care Assistant or Care Worker you will need to highlight qualities that show you are caring, patient, understanding, friendly and physically fit.  Include action words which show that in your personal profile and reinforce this by giving examples in the key skills section and also under duties in the Employment Summary section of your CV / resume.

It is also important to remember that as a Care Worker or residential Care Worker you may be required to work unsociable hours, deal with difficult situations and work with troubled people who may be abusive or abuse themselves.
