Need A Sample Builder CV / resume? 

Whilst years ago the majority of tradesmen gained employment either through their network of contacts or by demonstrating their skills on site, many did not feel it necessary to have a CV.  However in the current economic climate many employers use CVs as a pre-screening tool to decide who they wish to interview.  It is now imperative to have a neat, up to date and impressive builder CV.

Builder / Construction Worker or Labourer?

sample-builder-cv-resumeAs a builder you should make sure your builder CV lists all the skills you have gained, what type of projects you have worked on, what tools and equipment you can use and any qualifications you have. As competition in the construction field increases, you should add all other trades you have gained that might give you the edge over your competitors, so if you are a qualified plasterer or have experience of painting and decorating highlight this in your CV / resume.

If you intend to work on site in the UK you must hold a valid CSCS card so make sure you clearly state that on your CV.
