I am a mature aged student with just under 15 years work experience. I have just finished my third science degree. I’ve done these extra qualifications so I can finally get a job in science.
However, every time the same issue is either: you have no specific experience in the field and we want someone with experience OR we are taking on new graduates with no experience. However, we want someone young and malleable who has minimal pre-existing work habits.
I am pretty much crushed because I have worked so hard and it seems like m job in science is never going to happen. I can’t afford to quit my day job and do volunteer or trainee work. Ready to give up.
